DESCRIPTION

As daylight fades, Langkawi’s rainforest transforms into a mysterious world where unique nocturnal creatures emerge. The tour takes place on the majestic Gunung Raya, the island’s highest peak, beginning with a scenic drive toward the summit as the sun begins to set. As you wind through the dense mountain canopy, your naturalist guide will help you spot resident wildlife such as monkeys, squirrels, and various bird species, including hornbills and eagles. We will make stops at scenic viewpoints, offering breathtaking bird’s-eye views of the archipelago over the horizon.

Just before nightfall, we explore the transitions of the mountain forest as the night shift awakens. This immersive experience provides a rare opportunity to observe the rainforest’s elusive nocturnal residents that call the high-altitude canopy home. Guided by our naturalist’s expert knowledge, you will experience a completely different side of the jungle—quiet, mysterious, and alive with fascinating after-dark behaviors under a blanket of stars.
