DESCRIPTION
As night settles over Desaru Coast, step into an intimate stargazing experience designed to reconnect you with the universe. Under the Desaru Stars invites you to gather by a warm campfire in a secluded corner with minimal light pollution—ideal conditions for observing the tropical night sky. The atmosphere is simple and intentionally quiet, featuring a cozy tented area where you can enjoy freshly brewed coffee while nature and the cosmos take center stage.
Led by an experienced naturalist, the session introduces visible constellations and the basic science behind the stars above. Because star visibility varies based on weather and sky conditions, every session offers a unique encounter. This experience is designed for families, couples, and nature lovers seeking a gentle escape, providing a moment to pause and experience Desaru Coast from a perspective shaped by starlight, stillness, and wonder.
For your convenience, pick-up begins at 8:00 PM, and the tour concludes around 10:00 PM, including a seamless transfer back to your hotel.

Do I need to bring any equipment?
No special equipment is needed. We’ll provide everything from star maps to flashlights. You’re welcome to bring your own binoculars or telescope if you wish.
Is food or dinner provided?
Light local snacks and freshly brewed coffee are included. We recommend having dinner before the tour.
Can we take photos during the session?
Yes, you’re encouraged to capture your experience! However, please turn off flashlights or phone flashes during stargazing to preserve night vision for everyone.
What happens if the weather is cloudy or rainy?
As this tour depends on clear skies, in the event of heavy rain or overcast conditions, we’ll offer an alternative indoor or educational program, or reschedule your tour for another night.
