Head to Kubang Badak Jetty and board an Explorer Boat for a scenic cruise along the coastal river to explore a mangrove forest shaped by the daily tides. As you navigate the waterways, keep a lookout for White-bellied Sea Eagles, Brahminy Kites, kingfishers, and monitor lizards, with a chance to spot the resident otter family. The journey includes stops at an ancient charcoal kiln to learn about traditional local industries and a visit to Pinang Cave—a former sea cave carved by waves when sea levels were 25 meters higher than they are today.
The adventure continues to Pulau Dangli, a secluded island celebrated for its vibrant marine life and coral reefs. Here, you can enjoy relaxed snorkeling in clear waters among schools of Sergeant Major fish, with neap tides often providing the best visibility for viewing diverse coral formations. Yes. Snorkeling visibility is usually better during neap tide. The itinerary and snorkeling stop may be adjusted depending on sea conditions and safety considerations.
