Description

The Lebam River Cruise offers a family-friendly experience, especially enjoyable for those with young children. Departing from Desaru Coast, participants will journey to Sungai Lebam and board an explorer boat to explore this scenic and biodiverse river surrounded by a lush mangrove forest. The drive to the river offers glimpses of secondary forests and agricultural landscapes, including palm oil plantations.

Birds can be spotted especially the Black-Shoulder Kites, Herons, and Pacific Swallows. The arrival at the jetty shows a view of a small fishing settlement and a floating restaurant.

As the boat gently meanders along the river your guide will unravel the many interesting secrets of this unique ecosystem. These bizarre-looking trees have adapted to live in this dynamic and constantly changing environment dictated by the ebb and flow of ocean tides.

After the mangrove boat tour, we will make a stop at the famous Desaru Fruit Farm Shop for a chance to purchase local freshly harvested fruits before returning to the hotel.
