JungleWalla operates year-round across our key destinations in Langkawi, Penang, and Desaru. To ensure the highest standards of safety and service quality, our operations are governed by the following guidelines and policies.
OPERATIONAL HOURS & AVAILABILITY
- Standard Tours: Most morning expeditions commence between 07:30 and 08:30 to maximize wildlife sighting opportunities. Afternoon sessions typically begin at 15:30.
- Daily Operations: We operate seven days a week, including public holidays, subject to weather conditions and guide availability.
- Advanced Booking: We highly recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance, especially for specialized birdwatching and photography tours, to secure a professional naturalist.
WEATHER & SAFETY PROTOCOLS
As our activities are entirely nature-based, guest safety is our primary priority.
- Weather Contingency: In the event of heavy rain, lightning, or unsafe sea conditions, tours may be delayed or rescheduled. The decision to proceed is at the sole discretion of our lead naturalists.
- Fitness Levels: Our tours range from easy nature walks to strenuous jungle treks. Please refer to the specific activity description to ensure the tour matches your physical capability.
- Insurance: While we maintain basic operational insurance, we strongly advise all guests to have comprehensive personal travel insurance covering outdoor activities.
BOOKING & CANCELLATION TERMS
- Payment: Secure online payment is required to confirm bookings. We accept major credit cards and bank transfers via our secure booking engine.
- Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the tour: Full refund (minus administrative fees).
- Cancellations made within 24 to 48 hours: 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours or "no-shows": Non-refundable.
