The Langkawi Southern Island Geopark Tour is one of the island’s most popular and rewarding excursions, especially favored during weekends and holiday seasons. This private boat tour, accommodating up to eight passengers, offers an intimate and relaxed way to explore Langkawi’s spectacular southern seascapes. Cruise across crystal-clear turquoise waters framed by towering limestone cliffs, dramatic fjords, and ancient sea stacks sculpted over millions of years by sun, wind, and waves.
Your journey includes a visit to the iconic Pregnant Maiden Island (Pulau Dayang Bunting), where you can swim or float in the serene freshwater lake nestled among lush forested hills. The tour then continues to Singa Besar Island, a protected wildlife sanctuary where Brahminy Kites and White-bellied Sea Eagles soar gracefully overhead, creating unforgettable moments and excellent photo opportunities in a pristine natural setting.

ITINERARY
Total Duration: Approximately 3 Hours
- Meet Up & Briefing (3:00 PM): Meet your skipper and fellow travelers at Pekan Rabu Jetty, Kuah Town, for a short safety briefing and overview of the Southern Islands Geopark Tour.
- Scenic Cruise to the Southern Islands: Board a private explorer boat and cruise south of Langkawi through crystal-clear turquoise waters, passing dramatic limestone cliffs, ancient sea stacks, and scenic fjords sculpted over millions of years.
- Pregnant Maiden Island Visit (Pulau Dayang Bunting): Disembark and walk to the iconic freshwater lake nestled among forested hills. Enjoy swimming or floating in the calm waters and learn about the legends and geology of the island.
- Wildlife Watching at Singa Besar Island: Continue the cruise to Singa Besar Island, a protected wildlife sanctuary. Observe Brahminy Kites and White-bellied Sea Eagles soaring overhead, with excellent photo opportunities.
- Beach Stop (Subject to Sea & Tide Conditions): Depending on tide and sea conditions, stop at Teluk Cawi or Beras Basah Island for beach time, swimming, and relaxation on soft white sand.
- Return Cruise to Pekan Rabu Jetty: Enjoy a scenic cruise back to Pekan Rabu Jetty, Kuah Town, concluding your Southern Islands Geopark experience.

The meeting point is at Pekan Rabu Jetty 10 minutes before tour depart.
Estimated about 1-hour drive from North Hotels ( The Datai, The Danna, Berjaya Langkawi ), 30min drive from Cenang Beach/Tengah Beach to Pekan Rabu Jetty. E-Hailing, Grab and Taxis are widely available in Langkawi.
