Kuala Selangor Nature Park
Many species of water birds can be observed along the rich mudflat feeding grounds at low tide. The levee bank that separates the mangrove and secondary forest ecosystems now forms part of a web of nature trails that meander through and around about 6 kilometers of the park's secondary forest areas and artificial lake system.

Royal Belum Park
The Royal Belum forest is located in the Gerik, Perak, area (Hulu Perak). It is believe that the forest reserve coverage is about 290,000 hectares and with more than 146,000 hectares of virgin forest. The forest is divided into two sections: the upper Belum area, which stretches to the Thai-Malaysian border covering of impenetrable jungle and the lower Belum mostly covered by Temenggor Lake.

Perlis State Park
Perlis State Park is located along the western border of Perlis, where Peninsular Malaysia meets Thailand. The Park is situated on the longest continuous range of limestone hills in the country, called the Nakawan Range. The Nakawan Range has beautiful, heavily forested slopes, sheer cliff faces, streams and extensive cave system.

Penang National Park
Located at the north-western corner of Penang Island stands the last wilderness and nature heritage of Penang. Part of the area forms the catchment of Teluk Bahang dam. Kuala Gula Birds Sanctuary
Kuala Gula its surrounding area is a sanctuary for nearly 200 species of birds. It lies at the northern end of the Matang Mangrove Forest Reserve in the state of Perak Adjacent to this fishing village are mangrove swamps, mudflats and estuaries while on its hinterland are extensive oil palm plantations.

Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary
During the late 19th century in Malaysia, the conversion of rainforest habitats into rubber and oil palm plantations marked the beginning of a colossal conflict between man and Elephas maximus, the Asian elephant. The encroachment of human settlements and agriculture massively eroded the size of the elephant's forest territory.

Kenong Rimba Park
This scenic valley, traversed by rippling mountain streams, is home to the Batek aboriginal tribe. Within the park is magnificent limestone caves beneath which flows the Kenong River as it meanders gently on its way. The sense of tranquility and quiet solitude is broken only by the merry chirping of the birds and the cascading waterfalls.

Forest Research Institute Malaysia
Malaysia's forest research history dates back to the mid 1890's. However, it was in1929 when the first official Forest Research Institute (FRI) was established, on degraded tin mining and vegetable growing land at Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. In 1985, FRI was gazette as a research and development statutory body under the Ministry of Primary Industries and renamed the Forest Research Institute Malaysia.

Endau Rompin Park
Lush and relatively untouched, this Park encompasses the watershed of the rivers Endau in Johor and Rompin in Pahang . It is one of the few remaining lowland forests in the country, thanks to major conservation significance due to the diversity of the habitats and species found within. Its rocks and hills have been estimated to be 248 million years old. A haven for adventure seekers.
