    Malacca

    Malacca boasts many fine historical remains that will take you on a nostalgic journey that goes back to 500 years of a glorious and colourful past. Historically, Malacca was discovered in 1400 by an exiled prince named Parameswara from Sumatra, who sought sanctuary in a humble fishing village and decreed that a city be built where he stood.

    Kenong Rimba Park

    This scenic valley, traversed by rippling mountain streams, is home to the Batek aboriginal tribe. Within the park is magnificent limestone caves beneath which flows the Kenong River as it meanders gently on its way. The sense of tranquility and quiet solitude is broken only by the merry chirping of the birds and the cascading waterfalls.

    Terengganu Marine Park

    Redang Island the largest of a group of islands dotting the South China Sea off the Terengganu coast.is partof Terengganu Marine Park. The island offers crystal clear waters and numerous dive sites for the enthusiast. Sheltered within the Redang Island Marine Park, the waters here abound with marine life burst with the largest assortment of coral species.

    Tioman Marine Park

    Tioman gained its fame from the Hollywood motion picture "South Pacific" in the early sixties. Since then nature lovers and sun seekers alike have paid homage to Tioman year after year. Tioman Island is situated 36 nautical miles from the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The main tourist season runs from early February until the end of October.

    Maxwell Hill

    Bukit Larut is renowned as Malaysia's first and least developed hill-station resort. The highest hill was originally named Maxwell Hill, after the mountain base of William Edward Maxwell an Assistant British Resident. As the area developed into a rest and recuperation retreat - mainly for local 40 -administrators and other visitors from the district - the entire highland settlement became known as Maxwell Hill.

    Redang Island

    Pulau Redang, located 45 km off the coast of Kuala Terengganu, is the largest of a group of islands dotting the South China Sea off the Terengganu coast. The waters around Pulau Redang also contain two historic shipwrecks: The H.M.S Prince of Wales and H.M.S. Repulse, which sank here at the start of World War II, setting the stage for the Japanese occupation of Malaya.
